Red 52:2 Pigment

Red 52:2 pigment is an organic pigment with a bright and transparent red hue, widely used in printing and paint manufacturing due to its good dispersibility, desirable stability, and high compatibility with various systems. This pigment is particularly suitable for nitrocellulose (NC) inks, industrial paints, solvent-based decorative paints, polyamide (PA) inks, and polypropylene (PP) inks. Red 52:2 pigment, with a pH between 6.5 and 7.5 and an oil absorption of 45–55%, has a thermal stability of 180 °C and provides acceptable resistance to water, light, and acidic and alkaline environments in the range of 4–6. These properties make it a suitable choice for printing, coatings, and the production of durable, high-quality paints.
